Brian Saxton (President) started the company in 1990 as a sole proprietor with one truck and one customer. Over the years, his knowledge and dedicated customer service have made Saxton Electric Inc a well-known business in and around Cayuga County. His employees all bring something different to the table, forming a well-rounded, friendly, dedicated team.

Meet the Team

Brian Saxton

President

Brian received his Associate of Occupational Studies in Electrical Electronic Services in 1980. After college, Brian worked for Johnston Electric, Automatic Rolls, and Patrick Electric. While working at Patrick Electric in 1989, Brian received his license as a licensed master electrician. In 1990, he started Saxton Electric Inc.

Timothy Schott

Tim started his electrical education at BOCES. He has been with Saxton Electric since 1999, where he has expanded his knowledge tremendously. Tim’s well-rounded abilities have made him a valuable asset to the company.

John Young

While in the US Coast Guard, John gained construction and electrical knowledge. Having grown up on a farm, he is naturally mechanical. John has been with Saxton Electric since 2006.

Daniel Saxton

Dan has been with Saxton Electric since 2007. Dan worked part-time during high school and on the weekends during college. In 2011, he received his Associate of Occupational Studies degree in Electrical Construction and Controls from SUNY Delhi. Dan returned full time in 2011. His willingness to do whatever is necessary on the job makes him a valuable member of the team.

Richard Picciano

Prior to joining the team in 2011, Rich had 25 years of experience with his family’s electrical business, Gregory and Picciano. His expertise is mainly commercial and residential wiring; however, his well-rounded abilities assist in agricultural wiring as well.

Richard J. Picciano

Rich started working for Saxton Electric in 2014; prior to that, he worked with Gregory and Picciano for two-and-a-half years. Jr. is a hard worker and is very eager to learn what the rest of the team has to offer.

Lyndsey Saxton

Lyndsey joined Saxton Electric in 2015. She is responsible for office duties, answering phones, billing, and scheduling. Lyndsey’s people skills make it a pleasure to contact the office here at Saxton Electric.
